.

Screams from the past still hurt you
The scars across your face
Desperate cries when you raise your voice
Torn apart by fear
My inability to protect you

Memories

Words linger around in my head though I forgot how to speak. Placing me in a dreadful situation for words have always been my strongest weapons. Now the numbness has spread through my body, driving me insane. A scream from my deepest core finds its way out; as I watch shattered memories pass by in the broken mirror. I try to move forward but chains from the past pull me under. Grasping for air, I try to save myself from drowing. I know I never deserved you, yet I reach for you when I fall deeper and deeper. The image of you disappears the moment I try to touch you. My eyes slowly fill up with black filthy tears while I beg you not to leave me, even though it is for the best. Just remember I will always love you.

♥

You
You will always be in our hearts
Buried deep in our memories
We love you but we want to hold you
We can see you but we want to touch you
We can speak to you
But we want to hear you
Now we whisper to the silence
You left behind
You will always be

Stranger

Hello Stranger. I don't think you know me. But I must confess, I've been watching you, every day. Why you ask? Because you fascinate me. You look different every time I see you. You are everywhere I go. It doesn't matter what I do, you are there too. Our paths continuously cross each other. I know this must sound very weird. Especially because I've never really talked to you. I sort of regret that fact for I've always wondered where you are going, where you are coming from and what you are going to do. What do you want in life?
It's a shame I'm still too afraid to ask you. Hopefully, one day, you'll read this and approach me.
Hopefully you will tell me your story. Maybe you will not remember me, but I will always remember you.
I will leave you alone now. It is time for our paths to separate for today.
See you tomorrow, Stranger passing me by on the streets.

Little girl

Little girl in the sky
I don't like to watch you cry
So take my hand and close your eyes
Listen to my song; it'll be all right

Daddy

Hey dad,
Do you know who I am?
In every meaning of the word?
Hey Dad,
Do you love me?
Every small bit of me
Hey Dad,
I think you forgot about me
Though that's okay
But Dad,
Don't ever forget

The first part

For a few seconds I forgot where I am. Just for a few seconds. My surroundings remind me immediately.
I get up and stare through the glass. Not that there was much to see. Actually there was nothing to see at all. Yet I believe there is another world outside this glass cage. Again I hit the glass as hard as I can. I keep hitting until I'm too tired to move. Not a single crack appeared. I try screaming but it doesn't work. Hours of screaming has made my throat sore. My voice is nothing but a mere whisper. Even if I was able to scream, who would hear me? No one will find me here. I'm stuck and by the looks of it, it may take a while before I get out. I let out a sigh and sit down again. The floor feels cold against my bare hands and feet. I cover my eyes and try to block my senses. I was able to stop thinking a long time ago because I don't want to know why I'm here. I don't want to know how long I've been here. All I want is to sleep and dream about freedom. Though not all my dreams are showing me what I want. I try to catch my sleep again while wondering what will happen this time. The last dream scared me to death and yet now I want to dream again.
